Spectacular 18thC Welsh Comb Back Stick Chair
A truly exceptional and drop dead gorgeous mid 18thC Welsh Oak Comb Back Stick Chair of stunning form. This wonderful chair is in remarkable condition and has all the features you would wish to find in the very best Welsh stick chairs. Featuring a superb single slab 2” thick saddled elm seat supported on four traditional oak stick legs with scarf jointed oak arm, pine and birch sticks and rare shaped elm comb rail.
Featuring some of the most beautiful grain and colour possible and choice timber throughout this is a truly outstanding example. This chair being built f highly sought after large size, having a particularly comfortable proportions perfect for long evenings by the fire.
Strong and stable with gorgeous colour and in beautiful condition.
