Offered for sale is a limited edition plate by Spode, issued to celebrate the wedding of His Royal Highness, Charles, Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Spencer. At St Paul's Cathedral on 29th July 1981.
It was produced in a limited edition of 2000 of which this plate is number 567.
It features at it's centre sepia coloured framed portraits of the couple surrounded by garlands of stylised flowers topped with a Royal Crown. The plate is richly bordered in burgundy with gilded braided garlands of flowers and three badges from the Charles Prince of Wales Coat of Arms gilded on white encircled by gilded laurel leaves.
In pristine condition this plate is beautifully presented in a satin lined presentation box along with a certificate of authenticity.
A must have for any Royal collectors.
