A superb quality late Regency burr elm tea caddy. The caddy is made of a wonderfully figured burr elm which is contrasted with ebony giving the whole a striking impact. The design is highly Neoclassical with a sarcophagus shape, ring handles, applied pilasters and lobed bun feet. The interior is retained in its entirety with a pair of lidded canisters and the original mixing bowl. The whole has a great original colour and patina. A superb tea caddy and a fine piece of English country house antique furniture. C.1820.

Where charges are made for delivery we try to be as cost effective as possible on your behalf. Deliveries can be organised all over the world so please do ask wherever you are.
