Superb Royal Doulton Pointer 20th century british ceramic %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
Royal Doulton Pointer. A truly wonderful portrait of a British pointer. This versatile field dog has been captured in it’s famous pose superbly by one of Royal Doulton’s most highly regarded figure modelers, Peggy Davies. From the tip of the nose to the end of the tail the attention to detail on every part of this piece is breathtaking. One can imagine oneself being in the wood with the animal. The Pointer is set upon a woodland base and has found its target. Nicely coloured with a white and brown coat and fine facial features this is a piece for any lover of the breed. The Royal Doulton stamp can be found to the base. Model number 2624.The piece is in good condition with only age related signs of wear. 20th Century, Ceramic, British.
