Elegant mahogany Chippendale style tripod stand or torchere c.1910. Ideal for a lamp or objet d'art perhaps. Octagonal top with a pierced gallery around the sides, internal diameter 10". Raised on a slim turned and octagonal section tapering column. Slim shaped tripod legs, set wide for stability, with carved acanthus detail and good ball and claw feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
