Delightful sculpture of a mother and child in terracotta by the Belgian artist Paul Serste (1910-2000) c.1950. Standing 25″ tall and cleverly modelled so the kneeling pose makes a wide base to support her arched posture as she lifts the infant aloft. Clearly signed on the base. Excellent condition.
