A WONDERFUL QUALITY WOODEN TEA CADDY IN THE FORM OF AN APPLE.
THE APPLE HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY MADE IN A TRUE TO LIFE FORM. A GREAT SIZED CADDY.
HAND CARVED FROM A SINGLE PIECE OF TIMBER BY MASTER CRAFTSMEN OF THE TIME.
THERE IS THE ORIGINAL ESCUTCHEON TO THE FRONT AND CURVED FULLY WORKING LOCK AND ONE KEY. LID CLOSES AS IT SHOULD. STOP HINGE TO LID.
THE LID HAS A FINE REALISTIC WOODEN STALK.
A VERY TACTILE ITEM.
SUPER SHAPE AND SIZE TO THIS STUNNING APPLE.
MOST OF THESE FRUIT CADDIES ARE EUROPEAN MADE.
CONDITION: THE CADDY IS OVERALL SUPER WITH NO CRACKS. POLISH IS SUPERB WITH DEEP SHINE.
