Trench Knife
A trench knife made from a lee Metford bayonet. Trench knives are usually associated with the First World War but this could well be boar war. Short heavy clipped back blade press stud removed. The only markings a 72 on the pommel. The top of the scabbard marked 12 2858 the blade is shorter than the scabbard not because the blade was broken just because it was made that way
