Two early 19th.c. Welsh oak box seat armchairs or lambing chairs c.1800. Slight differences in design but both with long shaped arms with scrolling terminals on turned supports over lift up seats with a useful storage space below. Unusual faux drawer front with turned knobs and a bone escutcheon to one chair. The other has a panelled seat and nicely turned front feet. Good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
