This original oil on board painting is by the local Irish artist LESLIE NESBITT.
Leslie Nesbitt was born in Belfast in 1923. As a student he won first place in art in the Northern Ireland senior certificate. He is an artist whose subject matter includes landscape, seascape and still life and he is equally at home painting in oils, watercolours or pastel. Regular exhibitor at Royal Ulster Academy (R.U.A.) and Royal Hibernian Academy (R.H.A.)
This particular piece depicts soft Irish Landscape with houses in the distance., probably around Donegal in Ireland, where the artist regularly painted.

Should an item not be ready for immediate delivery, we are able to hold stock at our shop in Cowbridge. Items may be subject to a storage fee where applicable.
