Victorian 18ct Gold Cuff Links, Manton & Mole 1895
Here we have a very good quality pair of Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Cuff Links. The cuff links are chain linked with a torpedo style bar at each end. They come supplied in a modern gift box.
The cuff links are made in Birmingham by renowned jewellers Manton & Mole and date to 1895. Manton & Mole were active in Birmingham's famous Jewellery Quarter between the 1860s and the 1920s. Their old premises in Warstone Lane are now considered to be one of the best preserved purpose built Victorian antique jewellery workshops in Birmingham.
Condition is very good with just a couple of tiny dings in the torpedoes and the superficial surface wear that you would expect after over 120 years of use. The chains are securely attached on both cuff links and fully fit for purpose. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
Each torpedo is 1.9cm long and each cuff link extends 3.5cm. They weigh in at 6.2g of solid 18ct gold.
The hallmarks on each set are clear and easy to read. They show the crown for gold, the 18 for 18ct, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham, the Gothic date letter v for 1895 and the M & M makers' mark for Manton & Mole.
Shipping in the UK is £10 by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes cover for the value of the cuff links.
Overseas customers, please ask us about shipping costs to your country before making a purchase.
