This is a late Victorian Seal of Thistle design made from Agate and Silver. The seal is held within a silver cup with scrolling decoration and the agate stem extends from this in graduating shades of orange from very pale at the seal head to very dark at the octagonal base.

This small seal gives a good thistle impression in sealing wax and is almost certainly Scottish in origin, however there are no makers' marks to confirm this.

Condition is very good with no damage to the agate or the silver. Please make sure to view all the photographs.

The seal is 3.1cm long, 0.7cm across the face of the seal and weighs 2.5g.
