A pretty, early Victorian period inlaid burr walnut writing table. Of very good construction in solid walnut with attractive burr walnut veneers. The top is inset with a sumptuous green leather writing surface and decorated with inlaid roundels to the corners. There is a single long drawer to the freeze. Standing on lyre end supports with ebony detailing and open fretwork carved panels and united by a turned under-stretcher. The legs terminating in lobed bun feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
