Victorian Marble Top Mahogany Demilune Side Table
A lovely demilune shaped table. We date this table to the mid 19th century.
The table comes in two parts, the main table and the separate marble top.
The table top sits on three bun feet below the base. The table top is supported on a decorative well turned single support at the front and two rectangle section legs to the rear.
The table has an attractive marble top in greys over a deep apron.
The table has a height of 29.5" (75cm), a depth of 18.5" (47cm) and a width of 36" (92cm).
This lovely table remains in very good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. The table would originally have had a rear gallery there are some hols that have since been filled. The marble has numerous marks and wear to some edges from past use.
This remains a very stylish and elegant table. It will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
