Victorian Walnut Knee Hole Desk
An attractive, circa 1900 ladies knee hole writing desk. The configuration of this piece comprises of a multitude of drawers, all fitted with their original brass handles. The centre knee hole section features a small cupboard enabling extra storage ideal for stationary items. The item is in lovely condition, but unfortunately, there is a small expansion crack to the side of the knee hole that we have photographed. This is typical of pieces dating from this age due to damage caused by contemporary heating. As these cracks have appeared, it is unlikely that any other expansion cracks will occur.
