A charming vintage Art Deco piano stool / ottoman in a lovely figured burr walnut. It has a fall front that drops down to reveal storage. The front has a cross pattern inlay and it stands on a plinth base - veneered in what appears to be zebra wood. It has an upholstered top which has been newly recovered in a gold fabric over the existing upholstery. Dating from circa 1930. It was originally designed as a coal scuttle but easily be used as a piano stool, dressing table stool, ottoman or log bin.

In good condition with wear and marks commensurate with age. Some missing veneer to the base. Some splits and wear to the interior. Newly recovered over the existing upholstery which is in fair condition.
