Superb! - a wonderful example, top quality Ripley & Gowan powder compact under the original La Mode lable - in a heart like shape (more triangluar with rounded edges!) the colour of enamel is exquisite in a pale lemon with wonderful pink and blue bouquet - all in very nice condition, good fitting lid, which opens to reveal original shaped sifter & signed puff, the mirror is clear and excellent order. A brushed gold tone base, and highly decorative repouse edging - all in all a top quality piece from one of the most respected American producers. A fine piece, very difficult to find in this sort of immaculate condition, it is truly a beautiful collectable compact!. Sure to delight the most discerning of collectors!.
