A beautiful enamel Stratton " Convertible " powder compact in very good condition.
Stratton were rightly famed for the quality of their enamel powder compacts & this
vintage compact is no exception. It is beautiful & it has a enamel design featuring
white roses & foliage set atop beautiful lustrous royal blue enamel. The mirror gives an excellent reflection & the bezel is signed "Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND".
All clasps & hinges work well. This compact comes with the sifter, information leaflet, inspection docket & a foam puff. The base is decorated with the famous all over star pattern which dates Stratton compacts to the 1950s.
This vintage compact mirror measures 3 1/8" & weighs 96.6 grams.
