Charming little mid 18th.c. Welsh oak coffor bach or miniature chest c.1760. Just 25″ wide and 17″ tall. Two plank top with the braces on the underside notched into the back rail to make a simple hinge. Square panels to the front over a single drawer in the base. Brass escutcheon and drawer knobs. Oak panelled sides and rear. Thumb moulded plinth with shaped feet at the front and sides. Very good condition with some earlier repairs and restorations. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
