A WW11 Elwell RAF escape axe . Well marked on the heavy rubber handle although worn on one side the blade marked with broad arrow Elwell 44 . Just in time for D Day. Well used but still solid these axes we’re almost indestructible this one is a good used example and well marked a great survivor of the Second World War.
