A Victorian mahogany writing table or desk with turned legs, formerly a dining table. In mellow well-figured mahogany it stands on elegant turned legs, it is a good size, offering lots of work space but not too large. In good condition with beautiful colour and rich patina it is solid and sturdy. This desk would have started life as part of a dining table, and has been converted into a writing table at some point.
