Grindleys

Grindleys Pottery founded by William Harry Grindley in 1880. Makers of earthenware and Ironstone China pottery mainly for the markets of Australia, Canada, USA and South America. The business was sold in 1960 by Alfred Clough Ltd and renamed Grindley of Stoke (Ceramics) Ltd. In 1988 The business was re-purchased by W. H. Grindley and, after going into receivership, were taken over by Woodlands Pottery.
