Impressively large framed map published 1924 and showing the railway lines in the South West of England (from Bristol, Swindon and Southampton to Land’s End. Entitled ‘Official Railway Map of the West of England. Prepared and Published at the Railway Clearing House London 1924′. Showing the lines of the Great Western, London, Midland & Scottish and Southern railways in Yellow, Red and Green against a beautifully engraved map of the region with lots of good topographical detail and also showing the many shipping routes which served the area at this time. Printed over two sheets. Excellent condition, unfolded and presented behind glass in a simple wooden frame.
