Description

Elegant early 20th.c. silver plate caviar dish c.1930. Original glass bowl with lid for the caviar sits on a tripod stand inside a larger dish into which is placed ice in order to keep the contents perfectly chilled. Maker is unknown (a couple of indistinct marks to the base) but the quality is excellent with a gadrooned edge and crisp scallop motif handles. Excellent condition.
Dimensions: width 9½”, depth 8, height 5″.
