Description

This is a superb and very decorative Edwardian solid sterling silver tray or salver bears the retailer's marks of the renowned Goldsmiths & Silversmiths and was made by the excellent silversmiths Martin Hall & Co. Of lobed circular form, with a ribbon-tied edge , the centre plain and with no inscriptions. Raised on three ornate bracket feet and having a very good silver gauge.

RM over EH for Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall.

Sheffield Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letters "o" for 1906.
