Harriet Glen Cast Bronze Horse-Riding Sculpture

Photos

Description

This lovely horse-riding sculpture is made from what we believe to be heavy cast bronze and is signed by the artist at one side near the bottom. We believe it to date from around the 1980s. The sculpture depicts a horse and rider jumping a hedge. It is affixed to a wooden plinth base. Underneath the base is a gold sticker with 'Harriet Glen Design' and an address and telephone number written on. Written in pen on the bottom of the base is 'Taking No Chances' - we believe this to be the title of the piece, although please note that we are not 100% sure.

Date1980s Dimensions23cm high 29cm long by 10.5cm wide (base) ConditionGood condition. Unfortunately the rider's reigns have come apart from the horse's mouth at one side and need re-soldering. Otherwise there is some light knocking and wear as might be expected. The bronze is slighly loose on the base.
