Decorative Iron-Based Garden Table with Pine Top

Photos

Description

This attractive table would make a nice garden or conservatory table. It has a decorative blacksmith-made iron base, which dates from around the 1930s, and a solid pitch pine top which has been fitted later although the wood is old. The base has a scroll-work support at either side with a flat lower stretcher and an upper curved stretcher. The base has been painted white / cream at some point.

Condition Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition, with some wear consistent with age and use. The base has some grubbiness and surface corrosion as might be expected from a garden item and there is some chipping and wear to the paintwork. The table-top has some knocking, scuffing and wear as might be expected from old wood.

The approx. measurements are as follows
Overall - 76.5cm high, 102cm wide, 59.5cm deep (to maximums).
