Description

This attractive nursery fireplace fender dates from the first half of the nineteenth century. It is made from metal with a brass top rail, and decorative swags beneath. The fender is of a nice size and retains its pegs at the back which are designed to fit in to fixings on the wall.

Condition: Overall this attractive piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. It has some denting, misshaping, grubbiness and tarnishing and some surface corrosion and pitting. It is grubby and would benefit from a careful clean and from re-finishing.

77cm high, 122cm wide, 45cm deep (to maximums).
