Slades Antiques

Description

This large platter was made by Limoges and dates from the late nineteenth century. It is fully marked to the base for both Limoges and Haviland, and was made for McDougall & Sons of Glasgow. It has transfer-printed decoration featuring yellow and blue flowers and gilt highlights around the edges.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing flaws as might be expected and some surface scratching and wear in places.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
57cm by 39cm (to maximums).
