Description

This antique planter looks to date from the early twentieth century. We believe it to be primarily from mahogany, but it has a painted finish. There is a handle to either side for ease of moving, and the piece retains its tin liner. It has a lower shelf.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the paintwork as might be expected. There is some minor shrinkage splitting in places and some minor wood loss to the top rail. There is some rusting and surface corrosion to the tin liner. The piece may have undergone some restoration and alteration over the years.

The approx measurements are as follows:
79cm high, 36cm wide, 31cm deep (to maximums).
