Description

This antique part tea set is damaged and there are some pieces missing. We believe it to be C19th in date with purple transfer-printed decoration. There are no maker's marks or labels. Present is a teapot (badly cracked and missing its lid), a jug, nine cups (one in pieces and two more with broken handles) and nine saucers.

Condition: Overall damaged. The teapot is badly cracked and may not travel safely (please be aware of this risk if you require the set to be sent). It is missing its lid. One of the cups is in pieces and a further two have broken handles, one with loss. The saucers are badly worn and have much of the lustre decoration rubbed away. There are some manufacturing imperfections and some significant rubbing, wear and grubbiness as might be expected. There is some hairline cracking and crazing in places.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Teapot - 18cm high, 26cm long, 18cm wide (to maximums)
Cup - 6cm high, 9.5cm diameter (not including handle)
Saucer - 14cm diameter.
