Description

This antique mirror has a beautiful carved frame in the black forest style. We believe it to be oak, but please note that we are not 1100% sure of this. The mirror retains its original thick mirrored glass. It is designed to be hung on the wall. We would estimate to date from the mid-nineteenth century. There are no maker's marks or labels.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some scuffing and wear consistent with age and use. The mirrored glass has some quite heavy corrosion and is heavily flecked with black spots. There are some signs of minor restoration, including some newer blocks to the back.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Frame - 92cm by 75cm, 8cm deep.
