Description

This vintage fire screen looks to date from the first half of the twentieth century, and has elements of the art nouveau style. It has a brass frame with a decorative top, and a central bevel-edged mirrored hand-painted rose decoration. There are no maker's marks or labels.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface wear and corrosion to the brass frame, and there is some movement in the joints. There is some slight corrosion flecking to the mirror, and some chipping and wear to the paintwork.

74cm high, 45cm wide, 22cm deep (to maximums).
