Sterling Silver & Mother of Pearl Child's Teether

Photos

Description

This attractive vintage teether is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1942. We believe the maker's mark is for Crisford & Norris. The teether features a double-sided boy's head. It has a mother-of-pearl teether and ring.

Condition Overall in fair condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The silver loop holding the ring is bent and broken. There is a small hole to the silver figure at one side on his ruff. The silver is a little tarnished and would benefit from being polished, and has some slight denting and surface wear. The teether and ring have some surface scratching and wear, and the ring is rather grubby.

The approx. measurements are as follows
13cm long.
