Description

This lovely small dish has a beautiful decorative edge featuring birds, flowers and putti. The piece is fully hallmarked for London 1889 with the maker's mark for William Comyns. The piece weighs approx. 190g (6.1ozt).

Condition Overall in good condition, but with some wear and damage consistent with age and use. The decorative edge is a little misshapen in places and has some breaks, particularly to one part. There is some sign of resoldering in a couple of places on the back. The bowl has some surface scratching and wear and some tarnishing. It would benefit from a careful polish.
