Description

This lovely bedside cabinet is of continental origins and dates from the first half of the twentieth century, although it is older in style. We believe it to be constructed from solid birch with a feathered walnut veneered drawer and cupboard door front, although please note that we are not 100% sure of the wood types. It has a fixed marble top. Beneath the top is a small drawer over a small open section, with a single-door cupboard beneath. The drawer and cupboard retain their original brass handles. The piece is supported on shaped legs. It is of superb quality.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some knocking and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There are some flaws, cracks and chips to the marble, including a larger chip to the back right-hand corner. There is some staining to the shelf of the open section.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 81cm high, 42.5cm wide, 36.5cm deep (to maximums).
