Description

This lovely tie pin is marked near the top 9ct. It has a lovely oval opal stone. We would estimate it to date from c.1910-1920. It is retained within a period lined case (which is how it came to us), but we are not sure whether the case is original. The case has the maker 'J. Morton Jeweller 51-57 Nassau, Dublin' printed on the lining of the inside of the lid.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. It is slightly bent. The case has some scuffing and wear and is overall a little grubby.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Tie Pin - 6cm long.
