Description

This vintage Royal Daylight Lamp Oil enamel sign dates from the early part of the twentieth century. It is red, white and black in colour. The Anglo-American Oil Co. Ltd. was a predecessor of Esso. It is single-sided.

Condition: Overall in fair-good condition with some wear consistent with age. There is some discoloration and some significant rusting and chipping, mainly around the edges, but there are also two large chipped and corroded patches in the middle. There is also some rusting to the back of the sign. The sign has some scratching and scuffing and is overall quite grubby. The sign is a little bent to the corners.
