Description

This attractive antique stationery tray has decorative silver corners. Each of the corners is fully hallmarked, one for London 1910 and the others for London 1912, with the maker's mark W.R, possibly indicating William Robertson as a maker. The tray has a large open section and a smaller one for pens. The tray is stamped 'ebony' on the bottom.

Condition: Overall in fair condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The silver corners have some tarnishing and denting and there is some loss to the corner points in places. The box has some scuffing, scratching and wear to the woodwork. There is an area of wood loss to the inside at one corner, and some cracking to the outside edge in a couple of places. There are some areas of repair - the base has had some newer screws fitted at one side at some point.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
31.5cm by 18.5cm, 3.5cm deep.
