Description

This pair of cast iron handcuffs date from the nineteenth century. They retain a single working screw key which works both locks. The key is badly corroded and we cannot read the maker, but they are stamped '55' in the middle of the key.

Condition: Overall in fair condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The handcuffs and key have heavy surface corrosion and rusting. The key is bent and the locks are stiff, but do work. The handcuffs are still solid.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
23cm long.
