Vintage Oak Organette Table Organ with Rolls

Description

This antique organette has an oak case and dates from around the early twentieth century. Please note that it is in need of some restoration - it mostly works when some pressure is placed on the oak bar across the top, but the mechanism that feeds the rolls through is worn. All parts are present. Also present are eleven paper music rolls. There are no maker's marks.

Condition: Please note that the organette is in need of some restoration - it mostly works when some pressure is placed on the oak bar across the top, but the mechanism that feeds the rolls through is worn and the rubber parts have some cracking and wear. The oak case has some marking, fading and some shrinkage cracking, and the metal parts have some surface corrosion. The organette shows some signs of restoration and repair - the bellows look to have been professionally restored or replaced. The paper rolls have some damage and wear, with some tearing and loss.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
43.5cm long, 35cm wide (not including handle), 17cm high.
