Description

This unusual antique toilet is made from cast iron and is a nice piece of antique salvage. We believe it to date from around the turn of the twentieth century. It may have originally been from a steamboat or train, although we are not sure of this. It would make a nice garden planter or could be renovated for re-use. It has a clover leaf design to the back. There is what appears to be a foundry mark underneath the seat, together with the reference number 4590. The seat is not attached to the bowl.

Condition: Overall rusted with age and has obviously been kept outside for some time. Grubby, worn and possibly missing some parts. The seat is not attached to the bowl.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 40.5cm high, 45cm wide, 70cm deep (to maximums).
