Description

This pair of antique wine goblets are of nice heavy quality. They have bowls that are cut around the bases, cut stems and round bases. We would estimate to date from the mid-nineteenth century. We believe them to be of English origin. They have polished pontils.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There are some manufacturing imperfections as might be expected and one of the glasses has an abrasion to the base. They have some scratching in places and there are some tiny nicks around the cuts on the bowls - we are unsure whether this was done at the time of manufacture or is subsequent slight damage.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
20cm high, 10.5cm diameter of top, 10cm diameter of base.
