Description

This lovely antique letter opener is of superb quality. It is in the Japanese oriental style and dates from the early twentieth century. The letter opener is designed to resemble a leaf with a folded handle, lovely shaped piercings and a moulded design featuring a fly and flowers applied just within the handle recess. It has a shaped blade.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface scratching and wear and some nicking around the edges. There is some tarnishing and slight corrosion in places. Thre is some misshaping / denting to the handle.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
27.5cm long.
