Description

This antique tilt-top table is a nice country piece dating from c.1780. It is constructed from what we believe to be solid oak with a plaked rectangular top and a tripod base. It has a turned central column. It would make a nice tea table or occasional table.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. There is a shrinkage crack to the top between the planks, and the top also has some marking, staining and scratching. There are some signs of repair / alteration to the pedestal, which may have been cut down at some point. The top is a bit wobbly when open.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 106cm high (tilted), 60cm high (open) 60.5cm wide, 83.5cm long (to maximums).
