Description

This attractive jardiniere stand is a beautifully made piece and dates from the mid-nineteenth century. It is constructed from solid mahogany with a lovely decorative base with four cabriole-style legs, a central column and scrolled stretchers. The legs have carved shoulders. The top of the stand is round. The piece would also make a nice occasional table or stool.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in usuable condition but does have some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. The top is more heavily faded and is badly scratched. The stand has some cracking and damage to the top of the base, which would benefit from some attention.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 42cm high, 40cm diameter of top (to maximums).
