Description

This attractive standard lamp is a vintage piece dating from the first half of the twentieth century. We believe it to be constructed primarily from brass with a heavy base. It retains a period hand-painted card shade (which is damaged). The lamp has been recently rewired by a professional electrician and is in good working order.

Condition: Overall this handsome piece is in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. The brasswork is tarnished and grubby and has some surface wear and scratching as might be expected. The hand-painted shade is a little discoloured and has some denting, creasing and wear, and some tearing and holing in places.

Overall - 181cm high, 31cm by 35cm (base) (to maximums).
