Description

This lovely pair of decorative bronze vases look to date from the second half of the ninteenth century and to be of oriental origin. They are of nice quality with cast bird and foliage decoration to the body and serpent handles. There are no maker's marks. Please note that one is damaged.

Condition: Overall in fair-good condition with some wear and damage consistent with age. Both vases have some grubbiness and marking, and some scuffing and wear to the surface. There are some paint marks. Please note that one is damaged. There is an old repair to the bottom of the neck of this vase which has started to come apart, leaving the neck a little loose. This same vase also has a dent to the body. There is some surface corrosion and verdigree in places.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
34cm high, 18cm diameter (to maximums).
