Description

This garden table has a lovely decorative cast iron base, which has 'Birmh Mitchell's & Butlers' cast into the rectangular feet. We believe it to date from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. It has been later overpainted in white. The table has a later slate top which would benefit from replacement. Please note that the piece is very heavy.

Condition: Overall this garden table does have some wear consistent with age and use and would benefit from some tlc. It has the grubbiness and wear that might be expected of a piece of garden furniture that has been outside for many years. The slate top is basic and is marked and grubby - it would benefit from being replaced. The cast iron base is has some significant chipping and wear to the paintwork and some corrosion and rusting. One of the rectangular feet has rusted loose and is detached.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
79.5cm high, 166.5cm long, 62cm wide (to maximums).
