Description

This attractive swing mirror dates from the first half of the nineteenth century. It is constructed from mahogany with ebony edging and inlay, and is cross-banded around the mirror frame. Beneath the mirror are three drawers with replacement metal handles. The base is supported on turned wooden feet. The mirror has brass screws and brass top finials.

Condition: Overall in good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some scuffing and wear to the woodwork as might be expected and the piece is overall a little faded. It shows some signs of restoration and repair - the drawer handles have been replaced at some point and one is slightly odd. The mirror has some black corrosion marks.

The approx. measurements are as follows:
Overall - 66.5cm high, 65cm wide, 27cm deep (to maximums).
